Racing Group

Within this group you will learn how to race with the help of a sighted guide.  The blind/visually impaired sailor will learn how to compete and race in regattas.    The goal of this team is to travel and compete in domestic and international regattas when they are ready.  No experience is necessary. We hope to attend at least one regatta this summer, and possibly a clinic over the winter.

These are volunteer sighted guides that will join you in the boat.  Each boat could have 1-4  blind/visually impaired sailors and 1 sighted guide (sometimes 2).  These guides are trained annually through the TCBS sighted guide training.
